Most of this job is reading the room. Knowing when to step back and let something happen on its own, and when to step in and guide you through it. It is a fine balance and it is the part I love most.

On a wedding day I am watching the big, breathtaking moments and the small ones in equal measure: the light, the composition, a strand of hair that needs moving, a tie that needs straightening. You should feel looked after, not managed.

I shoot film alongside digital and mix both into every gallery. Weddings are delivered in four to six weeks, with a preview gallery in the first forty-eight hours so you do not have to wait to see it. Heirloom albums, matted prints and rehearsal dinner coverage are all available on top.

Home is Charleston, with my husband Ethan and a giant Schnauzer called Remy. I have photographed weddings in Mexico, Italy and Ireland, and I will happily go further.
